✨Gilded double sided Wheatsheaf hanging sign✨

I’m pretty choosey about the art jobs I take on these days, but when it comes to Heritage renovation projects of exquisite listed buildings in my home town, I’m there.

This is a large double sided sign to hang from a beautiful iron arm outside what was once an old coaching inn, the building was a wreck and is currently being lovingly & painstakingly restored by the new owners, who approached me to do the sign for them - no lettering as back in the day, most people wouldn’t have been able to read.

The hand painted wheatsheaf is threaded with 24ct gold leaf, so that when the sun hits the sign, you get a stunning deep gold gleam. ✨ more like this please ✨
