🚧 We’re Hiring – Signage Installers / Installer Assistants 🚧

Looking for someone who’s keen to get stuck in and join a busy signage installation team based in Troon, working across the UK. The work includes both normal and unsociable hours, so flexibility is a must.

What we’re after:

✅ Hands-on, practical experience (training will still be provided).

✅ Self-employed, paid day rate based on skillset/experience
CSCS, IPAF, PASMA preferred.

✅ Public liability insurance is essential.

✅ Must be mentally suited to physical, on-the-road work and have drivers license.

✅ No need for school or college qualifications — because honestly, f**k that!

What to expect:

2026 is shaping up to be an even busier 'busy' year and current installers & assistants average 20 days per month, we operate an old-school approach: show up, work hard, know your craft, be dependable.

✈️🐾 Doghouse Installations on the Runway! 🐾✈️

We’re chuffed to be one of the proud sponsors of Run The Runway at Glasgow Prestwick Airport, though let’s be honest, if this were just a fundraising post, only about 3 of you would actually see it. 😅

So (purely for algorithmic reasons, of course) here’s a post about a job we recently completed...

This morning Doghouse Installations gave the the runway a full Foreign Object Debris inspection.

Yes, that’s right, while others run the runway, we walk it very slowly looking for anything that shouldn’t be there. 🕶️🛠️

No loose bolts.
No rogue coffee cups.
No surprisingly aerodynamic seagulls.

✅ Runway: inspected.
✅ Post: algorithm-friendly.
✅ Charity: still the real reason we’re here. ❤️

😱 "ASBESTOS" ⚠️
..is a big scary word these days.

Asbestos is arguably one of the most durable and versatile minerals discovered, used in construction over the last 150 years and as such, has stood an extensive test of time and remains present in many buildings today.

Our installers are experienced and trained to understand asbestos reports, identify and report the presence of suspected asbestos but we will not work on it.

We work along side specialists, experienced in our installations to ensure a safe completion of works.

So don't be scared when you see "ASBESTOS", the show will go on!
