Its certainly a step up from Bez and his Maraca playing, dancing mascot days 🪇

🗓27th June!

As you may remember last year we 🐦🐦 attended Sounds At The Ground at Bradford Town F.C. and this year the day festival returns!

The 2026 lineup features some amazing acts!

First up are The Red Bandits! If you search our reels you will see a fabulous video of them when we booked them at The Boathouse, so we arranged for them to play SATG for you too! Definitely check them out for a fun start to events!

Shoutout to organisers for their choice of bookings for the rest of the lineup as we think they chose a great mix!

Local favourites Courting Ghosts will be bringing some fantastic original music to the stage. This band will have you toe tapping and smiling throughout their set so one to watch for sure!

If you aren't a 'Talker' already, you will be after seeing Talk In Code! Originals band with catchy tunes, retro feel outfits and some interesting dance moves! This band are the hardest pushing for promo we have ever seen and we LOVE IT

Sad Dad Club are busy guys who dont get out for public gigs often, so having them on stage is a treat! Outrageous outfits, dance moves, a variety of instruments and most of all good times for them and for you in the crowd!

Penultimate act Fortunate Sons are well known and loved on and off stage. We imagine Simon Blagden will be very off stage and getting the crowd to sing and shout along throughout the set! Rocking some classics, some mashups and fingers crossed some fancy glasses 👓

Headline act are Ultimate Coldplay - UK tribute band. This tribute band have played some big gigs so its exciting to have them here for Sounds At The Ground! Expect all the songs you know and love and a few you probably forgotten about!

Finish is 10pm and the football ⚽️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 will be shown after in the clubhouse (Subject to first come first served seating)

This event is a fantastic showcase for local music and musicians but also for Bradford-on-Avon and the football club.

Secure your place NOW! Last year it was a sellout before the gates opened - this year probably too - so don't wait until the day or you might just miss out!

Its a Rocking Weekend!

Here we have our recommendations and shoutouts for the weekend!

First off its our special booking of Fortunate Sons at The Boathouse! As you know, it's a great 'home' for the guys and one we love to see them play at! Future of music here is still uncertain so PLEASE do come show your support! Fortunate Sons LIVE at the The Boathouse kicks off 9pm!

On Saturday MaxOutput are at The lamb in Trowbridge so you can definitely rock the night away! Music from 9pm

Sunday we can't help but mention these TWO one-off type events to choose from. First off Jon Amor Trio has a very special Sunday guest at The Southgate Inn Devizes and that is Hugh Coltman! Former bandmate in The Hoax, this is set to be an amazing afternoon - especially if the weather is nice to be outside! Music from 5pm.

Over in Westbury - Ben & Tim are stepping out at The Crown Inn, Westbury for a special one night only gig! If anything makes you want to forget it's Monday the next day, it's these guys! Playing from 6pm-8pm you can still get to bed at a decent hour!

There is, once again, a LOT of live music over this weekend, so as always do what you can to support in person or online. Anything else going on, please do comment below!
