A reminder that Truro businesses and organisations should continue to report all crime and anti-social behaviour through the correct channels. We are aware there are concerns following two recent serious incidents. We understand that these two incidents were self-contained and of no wider risk to the public.
Please report all crimes and incidents (including anti-social behaviour) to Devon and Cornwall Police, either:
• at the time via 999 or 101,
• Or report via: https://www.devon-cornwall.police.uk or
• via the SentrySIS Crime Reporting Tool
If you report through SentrySIS, you do not need to call 101 as well. To sign up to SentrySIS, email UKPAC at [email protected] with your name, business, and email address.
Not reporting via the above methods reduces police crime data and weakens requests for additional police resources and security funding.
Note: contacting the Rangers, Truro BID or posting on social media doesn't replace reporting. Some recent incidents, including incidents involving persistent offenders, were reported only to the BID Team, the Rangers, and not the police. Rangers can attend where appropriate, but they will not report to the police on your behalf.
