You may have read over the last few weeks about new rules concerning what has to be marked as AI on Facebook and Instagram.

AI is a very big spectrum, and there is some content out there which is clearly made using AI, and absolutely should be acknowledged in this way.

One of the tools I use in my own social media, and with clients is Canva. This is a one-stop graphic design programme, and one of the features which I find brilliant is their background remover.

With Meta's new rules, you do not have to legally mark content as 'made with AI' if you use the Canva background remover, but Meta's automatic detection system made tag it with this marker.

Would it put you off my content if you saw 'made with AI' but knew it was because I'd used background remover? I wonder if this post will be tagged as made with AI!
