Ticehurst Chamber of Commerce is having its next meeting on Tuesday 13th September in the 'Big Room' at The Bell.

My passion is to assist business owners with providing freelance social media management to grow their business, and I'll be talking about social media marketing for your business and giving some top tips on social media.

Grab a drink from the bar and head on upstairs from 7pm to meet and chat with fellow business owners. Everyone who has a business in Flimwell, Stonegate and Ticehurst are most welcome. It's a very informal group with no membership fees.

I have had a career working in marketing agencies, and on the client side, for over 20 years in London, Kent and overseas. In 2019 I set up Treetops Marketing, a freelance social media service to UK businesses. I have worked across a whole range of sectors from tourism, pharmaceutical companies, insurance and art, through to animal charities and retail.

From social media platforms set up, to content planning, development of an overall marketing strategy and the day to day running of social media for my clients. I tailor hours to meet my clients’ individual business needs.

Working currently for the Wild Camel Protection Foundation on their marketing behind Sir David Attenborough's new series, A Perfect Planet starting tonight.

"The planet I saw as a young man has changed beyond recognition," says Attenborough. "If the Artic melts, sea will rise and flood cities. This is not H G Wells. It's not science fiction."

Sir David Attenborough's new series, A Perfect Planet starts tonight, BBC1 8pm (check your local date and time if outside the UK). The critically endangered wild camels (pictured below from the programme) will be shown on A Perfect Planet, on Saturday 17th Jan, 8pm OR available now on BBC iPlayer.
