Great to receive a copy of the Uckfield Late Night Shopping guide ahead of the big event, just one month away.

Lazy Daisy was asked to come up with a cover design for this year's A5 publication so we worked on a few different concepts for this and ended up with a bit of a combined version.

A great family friendly local event on tomorrow in Uckfield!

Postcards, posters and banner design recently supplied for this Uckfield Baptist Church event at Manor Primary School, Uckfield on Saturday 18th October from 11am - 3pm, with a special visit from Mission Aviation Fellowship. If you're local, go and take the opportunity to climb on board their Cessna 150 aircraft, try your hand at landing a MAF plane in the simulator and enjoy a barbecue... and it's all FREE!

Pleased to be able to assist the Uckfield Foodbank with a great solution for their new Tesco A-board signage, letting supporters know just what is most needed before they shop. This board has been upcycled and we added new header boards using the new Trussell branding. The Foodbank can now regularly update what is needed most, using their traffic light system.

New sign at the entrance to Tesco! Very excited about this and would like to thank Rob in Tesco and Rachael at lazydaisy for the sign production. The colours match the BanktheFood app and the sign will be updated at least weekly but probably more frequently (because I spend too much time in Tesco! 😂). We really hope you find this helpful. 😊

Great to have the opportunity to work on the new 'Shop Uckfield' campaign, supported by Uckfield Chamber of Commerce, Uckfield Town Council and Wealden District Council to encourage locals to support the brilliant shops and businesses we have in our town. We supplied designs for two different banner sizes and a square version for the estate agent boards and socials and I love the colourful end result!

A business card recently designed and printed for a local upholstery business.

For this design, they were clear on what they didn't want, ie no stereotypical chairs, gothic fonts and nothing too dark and heavy, so three different designs were requested to choose from to see what they liked best. It also needed to clearly show what they did however, so we found a photograph of upholstery tools that they liked for the reverse, we also added a light fabric texture behind the green front and gave a hint to an upholstered bench with the curved corners. A soft touch laminate on the finished cards provided a touch of class and quality.

The latest Meet the Nativity colouring and stamper sheets have been going out this week in school book bags and around the town ready for Uckfield - Late Night Shopping on 6th December. With a gate fold design, the stable doors open up to reveal the characters in the story of the first Christmas.

A great podcast from Uckfield Chamber of Commerce last week, where they check out the new King's Centre from King's Church Uckfield and talk about Meet the Nativity at Uckfield - Late Night Shopping, can't wait for that!

Another logo re-draw we provided earlier in the year. This one needed a bit of updating from the previous version supplied with a more readable font, cleaning up the tool details and making two colour instead of three so it is more versatile for their use going forward.

Today we celebrate Lazy Daisy's 25th Birthday! 🥳

Twenty-five years ago today I (Rachael) started my journey of being self employed. The name Lazy Daisy was originally something I began branding some home made cards with while I was at uni doing art and design, but the name stuck... and 25 years on I'm still going with my own graphic design business! So I just want to take this opportunity to thank you all for being on this journey with me, whether you have used my design services, bought something I designed in my earlier days or just followed and liked my posts, it's so appreciated, THANK YOU! 🌸

Design Deals • October • Logo Re-draw

This is a recent re-draw we have just completed. Thanks to King of the Woods, a local forest school that still loved their original logo but needed it larger and without a white background for their leaflets and we were happy to help!

To celebrate our 25th Anniversary we have a series of design deals starting with a logo re-draw. If you have a logo that is perhaps too small or low resolution to use as you really need it or you would like it with a transparent background, we can help. We will re-draw this for you as a ‘vector graphic’ meaning it will be fully scalable for printing and large format graphics and we will supply all the necessary formats for your use for just £25 if booked in before the end October!
