It’s every little girl’s dream to grow up & become a princess… what do you mean I actually made it happen? 👑

It may look easy, and people often ask what I actually do for work, but the truth is, I work incredibly hard to make it look this effortless. The fact that I get to play dress up, have fun and call it work is just one of the best parts.

Last night was spent modelling for Vicki’s Bridal Boutique at Eastwell Manor’s Engagement Event.

Stunning dresses, incredible suppliers and even better company. Blessed beyond belief and, as always, incredibly grateful 🤍

The difference between average content and professional-looking content is usually the little details.

Here are a few of the things I always keep in mind when creating content for my clients:

• Batch your content.
Set aside time to capture plenty of photos and videos in one go. It’s far more efficient than creating one post at a time.

• Film wider than you think.
You can always crop in later, but you can’t capture what wasn’t filmed.

• Capture movement.
Walking, pouring, opening, packaging or simply moving your hands instantly makes content feel more engaging.

• Don’t forget the details.
Close-ups, textures, products, hands at work and behind-the-scenes moments often become the most valuable clips.

• Record every angle.
Film the same moment from wide, close-up and different perspectives. One setup can easily become multiple pieces of content.

• Get more footage than you think you’ll need.
Those extra clips are often what transform a good edit into a great one.

• Create with purpose.
Every piece of content should educate, entertain, build trust or encourage someone to take the next step.

Some of you won’t like this post, and you might be the ones who need to read it most.

AI flyers and posts are doing more harm than good. People are tired of generic AI content, and platforms are reducing the reach of spammy, unoriginal posts.

Using “we” as a solo business creates confusion. People invest in people, and pretending to be a larger company removes the personal connection that could make them choose you.

Your content should connect with the right audience, not rely on friends feeling obligated to share it.

Word of mouth might introduce someone to your business, but they’ll still check your profile before enquiring. What they find could determine what happens next.

Brutal? Maybe. But sometimes honesty is exactly what your social media needs.
