Blogging feels like a good idea… until you’re staring at a blank screen wondering where the hell to start.

One of our Resources breaks it down properly: the 7 parts of a well-structured blog post that people actually want to read (and Google actually wants to rank).

It covers everything from writing a strong headline and intro, to structuring your content, using images properly, and finishing with a clear call to action that doesn’t feel salesy or awkward.

If your blogs tend to ramble, stall halfway through, or never quite do anything for your business, this one’s for you.

Head to our Resources page and give it a read.

Written by guest copywriter Tim Vincent, it’s packed with practical insights.

If your website looks good but isn’t converting, this is a must-read.

Huge thanks to Mel from Mel’s Marvellous Cakes for this absolute gem of a review.

Mel already had a website, but it needed a refresh to properly show off her gorgeous new pastel branding and those cake photos… that make you hungry.

Mel was an absolute joy to work with.

“A goal without a plan is just a wish.” And honestly? We see this play out on websites all the time.

This guest blog on our Resources page breaks down why marketing strategy actually matters, how planning saves you time and money, and where your website and SEO fit into the bigger picture.

If your marketing feels a bit… hopeful rather than intentional, this one’s well worth a read.

We’ve just wrapped up a full website rescue for Alsager Community Support - a brilliant local organisation doing important work across the Cheshire community.

Their old site was a pain: hard to update, tricky to navigate, and about as reliable as British summer weather. So we rebuilt it on Wix with accessibility and ease-of-use.

The new site makes it easy for people to find help fast, and easy for the team to keep things up to date with CMS collections for jobs, events, news and downloadable resources.

It was a pleasure working with such a dedicated team.

Evolution of a Web Goddess

I’ve always been a bit of a tech geek and our family had a computer way back when you used to have to fight for time on the phone line!

I trained and worked in administration when I left school and learned lots of programs when they required basic coding and didn’t even have mouse operation. It was a great time to be involved in computing.

Roll on 10 years and I found myself getting a job in London working as a software trainer. I knew how to use the programs so why not get paid to teach other people the same thing? And my real-world experience helped me do my job with ease and an understanding that my students enjoyed. I taught all of the Microsoft products - including Project - and loved the challenge of learning something new.

When I went freelance in 2003 I decided to build my own website. I had been a FrontPage trainer too so it wasn’t difficult, but I was determined to build something that looked good but was also easy to manage. I’ve tried many different online building platforms over the years and realised that although I found them easy to use, other people didn’t.
