Festival Lineup Coasters 🤘
I finally got this first set finished after alot of fine tuning.

Coasters are 3D printed and the detailed design is then IR laser engraved on.

I'll keep adding to this collection but there's also a custom request on my website 😊

Who’d have this on their desk? 🤘

Claire here ….

I had the idea for personalised keyrings for our daughter’s 6th birthday party… and Mat designed them 😍

These were 3D printed with the most beautiful sparkle finish making them perfect for a party keepsake. ✨

They can be made in a range of colours and font styles, and personalised with names, dates or slogans.

If you’re planning a party or just looking for a thoughtful little gift, drop us a message, we’d love to make some for you!

First workshop done last night.

Really great group with lots of questions, lots of discussion and a few “ahh that makes sense now” moments which is exactly what I was hoping for.

We covered how CAD, slicing and printing actually fit together, materials, common issues, and how to feel more in control of your printer rather than just pressing print.

Thanks to everyone who came along and to A Touch of Craft Yorkshire for hosting.

I’ll definitely be running more of these.
If you’d be interested in a future session (or an online one), drop a comment or message and I’ll keep you in the loop.

Workshop Announcement 😊:

As some may know, I’ve been designing and 3D printing professionally for several years, using CAD daily and running multiple printers every week for customer work.

I will be holding a workshop at A Touch of Craft Yorkshire for people who may own a 3D printer and want to feel more confident using it. I'll cover areas such as understanding materials, slicing, settings, common issues, and how basic CAD fits into the process.

It’s not a lecture, and it’s not full-on hands-on either. It’s a guided, practical session in a small group, with plenty of time for questions and real examples.

If you’re interested, the booking link is below.
Or if you know someone interested please share, it would be greatly appreciated 😊

Happy Moo-year Everyone!

So before Christmas I was commissioned to turn this 2D cow mascot (named Moorice) into a 3D model and full-colour printed statue, to be given out as awards at an end-of-year event.

I modelled the character and produced five finished pieces with 3D printed plinths, each printed in full colour and brought to life from the original illustration.

Always love projects where a flat design becomes something you can actually hold.
Here’s to more fun builds like this in 2026

I’m thinking about running a small, in-person workshop local to Wakefield in January along the lines of:
'Getting More Out of Your 3D Printer – a 3D Printing Workshop'

It would be a relaxed, practical session aimed at building confidence around 3D printing.

Things like understanding why prints succeed or fail, making sensible software adjustments, and seeing what simple modelling and design tools can (and can’t) do, without going too deep into full CAD.

It’s intended to be useful whether you already own a printer, are feeling a bit overwhelmed by it, or are exploring 3D printing for craft or small-business use.

Before I book a room, I just want to see if there’s any local interest.
If this sounds useful to you — or to someone you know — feel free to comment or share, or point me towards any local groups where it might be relevant.
