The Staveley Walking Trail maps have landed!

Staveley Town Deal commissioned us to create a new walking trail leaflet. The aim of the project was to encourage people to exercise and take in key sites that have been earmarked for redevelopment with government funding, such as the restoration of the Chesterfield Canal.

Our map highlights key landmarks in this Derbyshire market town and references points of interest along the way.

This Saturday between 10am–4pm, we'll be opening our studio alongside some other brilliant Wakefield creatives!

Open Studios are great for immersing yourself in all sorts of creativity - our community is so varied. Plus, The Art House maker spaces will be hosting free, family-friendly, drop-in activities throughout the day.

If you need any more encouragement, the coffee house will be stocked with delicious lunches, sweet treats, tea, coffee, and more to keep you going throughout the day. And the shop will be open for early Christmas shopping!

Here's a close-up of the new Forged Gin bottle label, featuring their new custom illustration, inspired by the industrial heritage of the area.

The labels are printed on a luxurious herringbone stock with gold foil and gloss finishes, ensuring the linework catches the light.

Forging a new identity 🔥

Since early 2021 we've been working with Wakefield's own Forged Spirits developing their new identity and product labels.

The new brand is heavily influenced by the industrial heritage of the local area, with a nod to art deco – a style that was seen on their previous bottle labels.

The footage here shows the brand new bespoke bottle, designed and manufactured by Stoelzle in Knottingley. We look forward to sharing more images in the coming days!

We recently took a trip down memory lane (Northgate to be precise) as we were tasked with creating a set of historic pub illustrations for Wakefield Civic Society. These were included in a publication that formed part of their recently-launched Discover Wakefield initiative.
