Fun little project today. This is the head of a Piñata that one of the grandkids hunted and bludgeoned to death over Christmas. Its mounted in the style of a hunting trophy, on a recycled wood shield that has been stained and waxed.
I took far too much pride in the quality control for this piece than I should have 🤣

Just a little spoon I made while waiting for some wood stain to dry.
Its hand cut and beaten copper with a hand carved Acacia handle.

Spoons like this are used in Pagan rituals. Acacia represents purity, enlightenment, resilience and inner strength.

In Freemasonry, Acacia symbolizes the immortality of the soul and the hope of resurrection, a reminder of the eternal nature of life.

Me? I shall use it for stirring my coffee.

Clutch plate deep cleaned, sealed and mounted on a recycled Douglas Fir back plate.

Backplate stained in a mahogany color using water based, environmentally friendly stain and finished with natural beeswax.
