For the last 18 months I’ve been working as a Freelance Graphic Designer for Driving Test Success Anytime, who have launched a new range of e-learning for the logistics industry. I was brought onboard to design their e-learning workbooks that accompany each e-learning course. There is a massive amount of knowledge and research that has gone into creating these courses, with new modules being added all the time. A design was created, that would work across the whole range of workbooks, with the adaptability of working with many different subjects, but still being part of a collection. Not only does it come with written fundamentals, but works as a visual guide, to help learners follow the course easier, but still giving a comprehensive introduction to the subject. I’m loving creating the e-learning workbook, they contain a lot of useful information with a range of topics. I’ve also had the opportunity to get my involved in writing some of the workbooks; City & Road Restrictions & Map Reading, as I have classroom teaching experience.
Every 5 years professional drivers have to do 35 hours to keep their Driver CPC card valid. In December 2024 new legislation was released which allows you to do a total of 12 hours e-learning towards your overall 35 hours training. This new law can save companies money in classroom fees, as well as time off for courses, as e-learning can be completed anytime, anywhere. Driving Test Success Anytime now offer these accredited e-learning courses to keep the Driver CPC card up-to-date and are saving companies and training providers money on training costs.
