So today I went to my first ‘real’ live business event in a very long time and it was so good to be back! A seminar put on by Cvent on “The Hybrid Dilemma”. There were a number of interesting discussions looking at how hybrid events will become the ‘norm’ with people expecting the choice to attend either in person or virtually. One speaker explained that technically hybrid events have run for years as the Olympics and other sporting events have always happened live events with spectators whilst being streamed ‘virtually’.

So have finally found time to update my website!
During the pandemic, with events closed, I have found time to get involved with various charities and found new opportunities to use my skills plus developed new ones and along the way made some new friends!

Hopefully things are starting to get back to some sort of normal and I can't wait for real events to return but I will also continue my involvement with the charities and highly recommend it to people to get involved.

No one could ever have imagined that the industry I had worked in, for a very long time, would suddenly come to a complete standstill. Covid arrived and we all went into lockdown and overnight events just stopped. With time on my hands, like a lot of people, I decided to find something to do to

So we managed to transform a school hall into Narnia - and so enjoyed working on this event 😃. It is amazing what you can get on EBay, Facebook Marketplace and in the woods!!
