Oh dear🤦‍♀️any advise as how to untangle this mess. I have tried to wrap skein if wool and have got in a right mess. I’m used to ready rolled balls. Any advise from any knitters out there.

Had a lovely day today stitching in the sunshine. I know your thinking why Christmas stitching, well I’m trying to use up patterns & kits before I buy anymore and wanted something easy to stitch. I hope everyone got to enjoy a little bit of sunshine today.

I have finally finished my “No Place Like Home “ quilt. This has been a work in progress since 2020😱. Many things have been made in between but it has always been in the background. I finally finished the piecing in 2025 and have hand quilted the whole top which has taken a long time. It is now finished and just needs a quilt label which I will hand stitch. The pattern was purchased as a kit from Totally patched.

So I have decided to challenge myself to make a Christmas quilt. There are 42 blocks plus borders ect… not sure I will have it ready for next Christmas but I’m going to do as much as I can when I get the chance.
First block is done but I’m not entirely happy with it, the pieces are so small, so may end up remaking it at some point.

For all the cat lovers in the world.

A couple of fantasy book sleeves for all those dragon lovers out there. My daughter being one of them. I didn’t think I needed a book sleeve u til I used one. They keep your book safe and in perfect condition. They also would fit a kindle in. I’m going to try and make a few different designs, any requests let me
know.

Starting to cut my latest quilt top. This is a lovely William Morris quilt top, the fabric is so nice to quilt with. I have been stroking this for a little while not wanting to cut into it.

As part of a challenge I have made this Advent calendar as a gift for my daughter’s school chapel. Where she works as a school chaplain.
