It’s Thortful Thursday so today I’m sharing a design perfect for those heroes who don’t wear capes.

With GCSE’s and A Levels just around the corner and study leave nearly here it’s officially time to send thanks to that one teacher, tutor or mentor who went the extra mile to make sure everything finally clicked.

It’s early May bank holiday this weekend in the UK which means some of us are lucky to get a 3 day weekend. (Do you ever really get a weekend when you’re self employed?!?

I’ve got a to do list as long as a giraffes neck. So I will definitely be tackling some of that. I also plan to move my narrowboat on Monday. Then some rest will definitely be scheduled in there.

Hello February! Let’s skip past the forced romance 💘 and head straight to the batter. 🥞

We’ve only just recovered from the marathon-like consumerism of Christmas. Something I also don’t particularly agree with and from today we’re gonna be forced to see all kinds of lovey dovey crap. 🤮

Honestly Cupid can go do one! I don’t need a card to know I’m loved. I don’t need chocolates either, or cut flowers (I find those a bit depressing - bringing something inside to watch slowly die). If you’re in a relationship you should show your partner you love them every day….

The hallmark funded guilt trip of valentines is just a way to make people buy more and make single people feel like their missing out while half the people in relationships are probably eyeing up the exit door anyway.

But Pancake Tuesday. That’s something we can all share the happiness in!

Pancakes don’t care if your single, taken, or in some kind of complicationship. They don’t require some fancy dinner reservation or a greetings card with a terrible pun.

Pancakes are inclusive. (Just like your marketing should be.) They don’t judge, they don’t exclude. They let people dream about what topping they’re going to add. 🤤

Valentines is the opposite. So this February be more like a warm and fluffy and inviting pancake.
