I got to shoot in this lovely pub. A really welcoming venue, with three generations of the Moss family.

It’s a beautiful Grade II listed pub that’s been around since the 17th century, and it's just had a gorgeous refresh, with so much character, stunning throughout!

Had a lovely evening last night darting between two venues to capture two events within three hours then editing until 3 am - it’s a good job my body clock is on my DJ time - I’m lucky to do what I do.

Sláinte! - Happy to all my Irish family and friends from this Murphy.

The first image in this post is a cheeky photo I took at - freshly served to a customer, I saw it was in the perfect position with a stained glass window far in the background. I say cheeky photo because I asked him to turn it around so I could see the Guinness logo - so it’s a semi candid photo.

The second image is a VERY rare sketch from me on my iPad. Back when I worked with the marketing team , I sketched this idea for a post on St Patrick’s day. I can’t remember what we went with in the end, but this was fun to sketch.

Back when I first started working with Fullers (roughly 2011 maybe??) The was one of the first pubs I visited. It’s changed a bit since then, but their sympathetic refurbishments have made it feel even more authentic and full of character - a beautiful pub in Bristol.

Some of my favourite shots of that day were the candid shots - I’m much prefer natural rather than staged. A lady taking a selfie with a beer, a couple sharing a moment, a bird taking flight over a red bus. But there was one shot I missed… Within this collection there is a picture of a waitress, carrying two drinks - just after I took that photo, she tripped and the two drinks spilt all over her. She was absolutely drenched, poor girl. She found it hilarious though, and still posed for a photo afterwards. But generally… Candid photos are the best.

While I was taking photos of the at I heard some music playing outside. Looking out the window I could see a band had randomly pulled up on the top of a longboat to play some music for everyone in the . I ran down, took some photos, enjoyed some music in the Sun, and then carried on with my photo shoot. It was such a nice day! I don’t think it was prearranged, at least I’d like to think it wasn’t, so I’m hoping nobody clarifies in the comments! - I’d quite like to keep the memory of it as an impromptu performance!

With the penultimate round of the 2023 Six Nations Championship this weekend, I thought I'd post a few pics I took from a lovely pub. is one of the closest pubs to Twickenham stadium - a great place to watch the rugby... and don't get me started on how good their Thai restaurant is! - amazing!
