Shouting about great music is what we do at MNPR - it's why we started the whole thing.

A band that has grabbed our attention recently is Bitter Luck. This Washington D.C. four-piece are doing something genuinely exciting - classic rock DNA running through everything they do but with a progressive edge that stops it feeling like a throwback.

Think Aerosmith and Guns N' Roses filtered through Rush, Led Zeppelin, Dirty Honey or Greta Van Fleet.

We love Ean's powerful vocals, Will's Jack Bruce-style bass and Eric's Bonham-esque drumming, but it's Andrei's filthy riffs and blistering solos that give us goosebumps. This is proper music.

Their debut EP "Show Your Hand" dropped last Halloween and it's well worth a listen people. Get on it.

The Karma Effect have made the album they were born to make.

'Cruel Intentions' is darker, heavier, and more fully formed than anything the South London rockers have put their name to - and frontman Henry Gottelier is in no doubt about what it represents. "This is the album this band has been striving to make since we started," he tells us. "We needed to go through all we went through to make this record."
