Turns out working five days a week and running your own company keeps you pretty busy!

So, to make sure that I am doing all my work to my own high standards, I will be taking a step back from social posting. Creating all the content takes a lot of work and as much as I enjoy doing it, I need the hours to work on other projects.

Thank you to all my spiderlings who have liked, shared and continued to boost me up, I really appreciate it.

I am looking forward to seeing what happens, and who I work with next!

If by Friday afternoon you are starting to feel sluggish but need to stay productive, then I can highly recommend the Geekout Newsletter from Matt Navarra. It gets released on Friday afternoons every week so the perfect time to 'look busy' whilst catching up on everything you need to know in the world of Social Media.

I leave it until the following Monday morning so I can hit the ground running for a new week, but totally up to you.

Register on his website (link to it in my curated library - https://www.socialspider.co.uk/curated-library), the newsletter is free and is an absolute gem of information.

You can look up anyone on Facebook and see a complete list of every advert they have ever run. So it stands to reason that if they have been running a long time they are successful, meaning they can be learnt from.

Make life easier and make 10-slide carousels on Canva 🙌

The 8000px width limit on Canva prevents you from making a 10-slide carousel in one go, but I have an easy workaround that saves me a tonne of time with my post creation.

The good news is your recipe book is fine, but your website and digital advertising may need a shake-up.

There is a dash of new legislation meaning it's harder to whip up an advert for a cookie audience. But with a dash of knowledge and a pinch understanding we digital marketers will be able to get better performance and a more satisfied tummy, I mean, audience.

Neil Patel (he's a pretty big marketing deal by the way) wrote a great article that goes into more about how the change in legislation and what that means for cookies but also covers what cookies are. it's a really easy read with lots of support for small business owners.
