It was a morning of training today at Shropshire Chamber for our SBC Training Multi-channel Marketing Apprentice, Libby.

She attended the Nourish Holistic Wellbeing 'Tackling Overwhelm' course where she learnt how to manage a task list, how to switch off from work mode, and the importance of taking a second to pause and breathe.

This was an important one for Libby as her apprenticeship is her first full-time job, so she is still learning about how to manage a work-life balance, something that is very important to J&PR.

Kirsty delivered her LinkedIn for Business course at Shropshire Chamber yesterday and it was a full house.

There were some great discussions around personal pages versus company pages, confidence in using the platform, strategy and planning, authenticity, voice, themes for content, AEO and GEO (more on that later) and so much more. And it's only a half day course! Our next LinkedIn course is October 6th.

Our SBC Training Multi-Channel Marketing apprentice Libby attended this morning's Love Wellington social media support session at AJ’s Kitchen Wellington.

She told us it was a great drop in session with plenty of ideas on how to use social media to the best of it's ability, and embrace everything it has to offer. (It's always great for trainees to hear a different voice and enjoy a break from the office!)

It's important now more than ever, with 97% of consumers using digital tools as part of their shopping journey, to make sure businesses to have an online presence.

Thank you to Sally and Jenna from Love Wellington for providing businesses in our wonderful town with opportunities like this.

It's definitely worth dropping in on Wednesday 10am to 12noon for the next session.

The Shropshire World Scout Jamboree unit got together this month for another training camp as they count down to their amazing trip in July 2027!

The Jamboree is one of the world's largest outdoor educational events for young people. Tens of thousands of Scouts from across the globe come together to camp outdoors and join in fun activities where they make new friends, learn about other cultures, and develop leadership skills that will last a lifetime.

We are so pleased to have been able to support two Shropshire Scouts - Arlo and Ellis - to be able to make this journey as part of the UK contingent to the 2027 World Scout Jamboree in Poland.

And we are really enjoying following their journey ❤️

Second agricultural show of the May half term for team J&PR!

This time, we were supporting our client, EPX Technical Services, at the Staffordshire County Show 2026, where they were proud sponsors.

It was great to see so many people enjoying the day and to spend time out and about capturing photos from across the showground 📸

What a fantastic day at the Shropshire County Show 2026 yesterday 🙌

As always, it was brilliant to see so many people supporting such an important county event and to catch up with businesses, organisations, volunteers and visitors from across Shropshire and beyond.

The J&PR team were involved behind the scenes throughout the day, with Rhea volunteering as part of the show committee and Libby out and about capturing photos and video from across the showground 📸

It was lovely to spend time chatting with the team from Shuker Group who were Premium Show Partners this year and to see clients Lanyon Bowdler who had a stand and sponsored the Grand Parade once again!

J&PR were also proud to sponsor the Best Veteran Dog category in the dog show 🐾 The award was chosen by Rhea in memory of her dog, Norman ❤️

The dog show was organised by Jenny and the team from Grinshill Animal Rescue who did a great job! It was wonderful to see so many beautiful dogs taking part throughout the day.
