❓What do you think❓

This is a question that I dread. When a client is extremely excited about an idea that I think is p**p! Or in marketing terms, I do not see it working and would struggle to see the investment needed, to deliver a ROI.

Many people, no judgement here, would agree with a client that their idea is incredible, take the payment with a vision of it going viral within 48 hours and not feel any remorse about doing work on a project that is unlikely to ever work. We are all different and business is business.

Unlikely to work is not impossible but unlikely to ever work is the part where I fold my cards and step away from the table.

As those who know me well, my face is a face of 1000 expressions and whilst I do not feel it moving during client discussions, it obviously does! Two clients in the last week have said to me, your facial expression says it all?

I can only speak for myself and trust my own experiences and instincts. I also believe in honesty with clients and if I do not believe I can market a concept and convert for my client, I politely share my views, that if I do not feel excited by a product, that would come across in the marketing strategy.

I have lost clients or potential clients but would rather that and be at ease with who I am and where I truly believe I can make a campaign fly. Honesty and passion for the product!

Pennies make pounds and when you are responsible for money that someone else has worked hard to save, that is a responsibility that I act upon as if the money was my own, with that comes responsibility! 💰
