4 years in business didn’t happen by accident. It’s taken late nights, hard work, lots of juggling and quite a bit of pushing out of my comfort zone.

My advice for making your small business or charity website so much more effective is:

Open your homepage and ask yourself whether a visitor can find your key information within 5 seconds?

They need to know:
🌻 Who do you help?
🌻 What do you offer?
🌻 What’s the next step?

Think carefully about the answers to these questions and make sure they’re the first thing you see on your homepage.

✨What a year 2025 has been! ✨

At the start of the year I launched the Cultivating Creative Podcast, interviewed some amazing guests and supported loads of brilliant small businesses.

I’ve worked with some fantastic clients and had my busiest year yet creating websites, developing promotions and running social accounts. On top of that, I launched my introduction to SEO training and started a networking group for small business owners.

I have some exciting plans for 2026 so watch this space!

As small business owners we can be our own worst enemy! Hands up if you’ve ever held back from promoting something you do because of a lack of confidence ✋

A conversation with a client recently got me thinking about how we can increase our confidence as small business owners. I’ve found that it’s so much easier to spot when someone else is doing something amazing than it is to recognise it ourselves.
