A great day at the Westbury Whitehorse Soapbox Derby and STEM Fair yesterday. We are proud to sponsor this amazing event and Team Honeystone came 11th out of 22 (which far exceeded our expectations for a late first entry). Huge thanks to our client and friend Tim from Metal Dreams for both his invaluable contribution to the build and fearless drive. Also team captain George plus Jennie and James for CAD design, testing and filming. Here’s to what we can achieve in 2026!

Honeystone are proud to be sponsoring the Westbury Whitehorse Soapbox Derby and STEM Fair on 18th May 2024. As a local company involved in software engineering and web design, we understand it's highly beneficial for children to engage in practical projects as early as possible.

The Soapbox Derby is also a great event for bringing the local community together, and something which is enjoyed by people from Westbury, Warminster, Frome, Devizes, Melksham, Trowbridge and beyond.

Building soapbox carts is something many of us enjoyed as kids, so it's great to be part of it's evolution into a well organised event which can be enjoyed by racers and spectators alike.

Thanks to the hard work of the Westbury Town Council events team especially Ryan and Nicki, our local area has a growing reputation for hosting races, festivals and concerts which are admired across the South West.

We are greatly looking forward to the event and wish all competitors, fellow sponsors and stallholders the very best.

One of the gnarliest, most technical and bendy Soapbox tracks in the country. The White Horse Soapbox Derby is a challenging event for competitors, incredibly entertaining for spectators, and the perfect introduction to STEM for young people, and the young at heart.

The project was a ground up rebuild, delivering a TypedCMS powered website with much improved case study and services functionality.

The new website is a modern twist on the original website and long established WHLandcape brand, and ensures that both new and existing customers feel right at home.

Honeystone has been working with the Wiltshire & Swindon Local Resilience Forum (LRF) and managing their website for many years now. Whilst still respectable, their website had begun to show its age.

The strategic aim of the LRF is ‘To plan an effective and efficient, coordinated multi-agency response within Wiltshire and Swindon to an emergency or major incident’.

With this mission in mind, we completely refreshed the look and feel of the website, designed a new logo, and worked closely with the LRF to enhance their brand around a succinct new slogan “Ready for Anything, Always”.

The website still runs on the Laravel platform but now also uses TypedCMS to manage the new content structure which includes articles, news, advice and an interactive risk rating matrix.
