A year in the making and this is just the start 📊

We’re proud to share the findings from the Powering Performance: Women in Sport Survey, delivered for E.ON UK.

In November, we launched the survey at Wembley Stadium. Over the next 19 weeks, data was collected from adults across the UK. Key stakeholders then came together for two live workshops at E.ON Next House, London, a central collaborative space to explore the findings and discuss each topic in depth.

Some key data from the survey:
📉 60% of women drop out of sport by their mid-30s, compared to 37% of men
📈 57% say hormonal and physical changes have directly impacted their ability to participate
📊 Interest in women’s sport is growing at 3x the rate of men

The Powering Performance initiative goes hand-in-hand with E.ON’s wider commitments and MPA is proud to be supporting this work.
