ASCape is a wonderful charity based in Dorset that provides supportive socialisation for autistic and socially anxious children and young people. They facilitate peer support for parents and carers in a safe, non-judgemental environment.
Their website needed a fresh design and several new features. The work they do is vital, so I jumped at the chance to help out. I built a custom design layout and integrated an events calendar, news section, and resources library.
The website prioritises accessibility for all visitors. We've included functions that allow users to directly change the website's text size, contrast, colour, font family, and background.
The website has several easily manageable sections in the admin panel for ASCape staff to update content. These include staff members, resources, links, blog posts, and the upcoming events calendar.

Clare Cameron, ASCape’s co-Director was kind enough to write a wonderful testimonial after the website launched:
“I am thrilled to offer my wholehearted endorsement for Phil of Magical Design. Phil’s work on our charity, ASCape’s website, has been nothing short of exceptional. He created a website that is not only visually appealing but also incredibly user-friendly, making our content accessible to all.
Throughout the entire process, Phil’s professionalism, efficiency, and good-humored approach made the experience enjoyable, especially for a team with limited technical expertise like ours. He responded promptly to our inquiries, and his YouTube user guides were nothing short of genius – they truly made navigating our new website ‘idiot-proof.’
Thanks to Phil’s hard work and dedication, ASCape now boasts a website we are immensely proud of, and it has greatly enhanced our online presence. I wholeheartedly recommend Phil for his outstanding services, and it’s clear that he offers excellent value for money. Phil’s expertise and commitment to delivering top-notch results make him an invaluable asset for any web development project. Thank you, Phil, for your exceptional work and support.”
