Now there are 2 reasons for anyone joining a page.

Firstly to see what's contents getting produced because the page name came in in their search...

Or they are looking to either gain information to use themselves or to slowly pitch people on the page.

In either case that still gives the page traction and more views from others who are looking at similar content...
