It’s goodbye from Charlotte’s Web Marketing 👋🏻
I’ve got some big changes coming up over the next few weeks, both personally and professionally.
The fact that they’ve all coincided isn’t a surprise to me - quite the opposite. But the catalyst is one that might surprise you…
You see, when Ada was born, I had visions of her growing up seeing her mama working at home on her own business. 👩🏼💻
I thought that was the best way for me to be a role model to my daughter.
But the truth is I’ve struggled to give what I need to in my business, and it’s become more stressful than enjoyable.
Instead of being able to give my all to my work, and then to my daughter when I’m with her, the two have blended together to a point where I feel guilty 24/7 about not being present enough in either role.
It turns out I need more structure right now.
With my husband being home more often, it felt like the right time to look at other options and I came across a dream job.
I applied, and got it…
So say hello to the new Marketing & Events Assistant at Tyne Theatre & Opera House! 🎭
As of 1st of October, I’ll be back in employment in a role I’m beyond excited to get stuck in!
So Charlotte’s Web is changing.
I’ll still be sharing marketing insights and tips with you, but also giving you a look into my life as I get to grips with returning to work in a role in the big city.
I’m all about being honest and real with you, so that’s what this account will continue to be, however it evolves!
I’m proud of myself for making a change rather than continuing to muddle along with no real direction. And ✨that✨ is the lesson and example I want my daughter to grow up with.
