The Moon - as seen from Whitstable last night - Approximately 238,855 miles away. Jupiter was also visible at about 588 million miles, - gonna need bigger lens! 🌓

Barn Owl - Like the short eared owl, they can be seen hunting in the daytime, as their feathers are not so waterproof, wet weather may reduce sightings of this beautiful bird.

What a beautiful morning to be waiting at the old Sheppey bridge for a boat to pass by. Elmley Nature Reserve was stunning with short eared owls, barn owls, marsh harriers and kestrels etc. all soaking up the good weather.

Based alongside the Pontoon in Whitstable harbour we offer two different types of trip aboard our Vintage Lifeboat “The Chieftain”…

Seal Safaris lasting at least an hour and a half for £35 per person.

Thirty minute trips around the bay for £12 per person.

Five and unders are half price.

We can also offer whole boat charters for both types of trip.
