James Risley Ltd. Printers, Wigan James Risley Limited is a family owned business, now in its third generation. Our company has been built on solid foundations.

Founded in the early 1920s we have experienced and adapted to the whole gamut of a fast changing industry, from letterpress through to litho and now the digital age. We operate from our own purpose built modern premises, with parking facilities, close to Wigan town centre. We own the land, the building and all the equipment inside. Old and new...for anyone who wants to see a Heidelberg Letterpress still in action then come down and marvel at a wonder of German engineering from 1958. We still use it occasionally for numbering and perforating and it is still as good as when it was first made. Also at the other end of the scale we have a 44inch wide format digital printer for doing banners and large posters.
