Good afternoon world!!! I was getting a bit sick of being inside today so I decided to take myself to my local park and sit on a park bench. I am currently working on the ‘success stories’ of my new branded website for my business Alexander Media Creative Alexander Media Creative SME Consultancy (Please follow)

I’m writing down some of the work I have worked on with some amazing female business owners and female leaders within their organisations. It’s very satisfying to recall these recent memories and read over their ‘five star’ feedback after working with me.

As a business owner, I love the freedom I have to be able to work where ever I feel the day is leading me too. Mostly I’m based in my office in West Midlands House, but sometimes when the weather is nice I can pop to the park and do some writing and research on my phone.

Good morning world!!! I got invited by Claire Higgins to be a part of a collaboration Wedding shoot at 'The Mount, Wolverhampton' Hotel and I couldn't say no!! I, along with other wedding suppliers and a model bride and groom, came together to stage a beautiful wedding from the make up and hair of the bride, to the main reception room set up, to the decorating of the outdoor ceremony area to the post wedding pictures too.

It was fun to come together and work with so many different people on the day, all with the same goal in mind, to create the best creative display possible to help promote each other's businesses in the wedding and event market.

Good morning world!!! I absolutely love collaboration and especially when it comes to creativity. Over the past two days, I have been working with Josie Gamble from Gamble Designs and Anna Walsh from CHADD Churches Housing Association of Dudley & District to collect personal testimonies and stories from staff members and service users of how the organisation of CHADD has affected them over the past year for their AGM meeting in September.

I have captured many stories over the past two days about how the lives of services users who have experienced domestic violence have been turned around because of the support that CHADD has provided, the safety that they now feel and the hope they now have for the future. Staff members also shared their love for their jobs, the reward they feel because of the positive impact they are having on people and excitement they have for the service users future prospects because of the work they do.

The art of 'storytelling' is so essential today in effectively marketing what your business or organisation is doing. It allows the consumer to understand who you are, the heart behind what you do and what you have achieved for other clients or service users in the past.

Good morning world!!! Fun was had with Leah Crowfoot on our brand shoot recently. I’ve known Leah now for a couple of years and especially recently, have gotten to know her on a more personal level. Although she works with money, teaching people how to manage it and create a life that thrives with it, she wanted to show her fun and wild personality through her shoot.

Gone are the days that we have to present a very corporate, non-personal image to clients. People want to build relationships with the people that they work with. They want to know who you are and what makes you different to the many others that have the same skill set and experience.

Good afternoon world!!! I spent the morning with Leah | Business Finance creating beautiful brand photography for her website and social marketing. We visited Bantock House in Wolverhampton and took some amazing shots around the grounds. Look out for the resulting images next week.

Good afternoon world!!! Mission Complete!!! All 12 speaker talks, 3 Fireside Chats and 2 performances from the TEDxWolverhampton 2026 event filmed from 3 different camera angles are now edited and uploaded to the TEDx portal. All but one of these edits are currently published on YouTube.

A special thank you to Clare RM for having me on the team over the past nearly three years and getting to work on such inspirational events. It was amazing to work alongside my eldest daughter Livia Gordon as she manned one of my cameras for the first time at such an important event. Good morning world!!! WOW WOW WOW!!! I love being creative in my business and this shoot was a first in terms of the fitness/gym style. I had the pleasure of working with Rhiannon Cooper 💕 who is a Neuro-inclusive Fitness Expert in Wolverhampton.

I first got to know her through working with her for the 2026 TEDxWolverhampton event, but then over the past six months we've actually become very good friends working together helping each other in our respective businesses. Good morning world!!! JUST OVER ONE MONTH LEFT!!! At the weekend, I collaborated with Sienna Ahir to create some beautiful images for her exciting upcoming project. We went to West Park in Wolverhampton and picked out some lovely little spots around the park to get new Brand Photography images.

We have had the perfect weather this summer for outdoor brand photography with the British sunshine out every day and very little rain. Take the opportunity with the last month of summer coming up to get some beautiful summer images for your social content before the Autumn season kicks in.
