BIGGEST. SIGN. WE’VE. EVER. DONE.
And quite possibly the biggest sign in South East London.
No hype. Just facts.
📏 26.4 metres long x 1.4 metres tall
Built as 11 precision-engineered aluminium sections with a single-piece front skin.
Yes — one skin. No joins. No compromises.
This Nova Flex aluminium cased lightbox is fully loaded with 24v LED modular illumination, wrapped in a double-struck, back-lit printed PVC skin, complete with rod pockets on all edges, Nova Flex clamping system, and a liquid laminate to lock that colour in for the long haul.
🛠️ Install day?
• 6 installers
• 2 diesel scissor lifts
• 1 truck-mounted cherry picker
• Military-level planning
And because planning was obsessive, the install ran smooth, controlled, and bang on target.
But that wasn’t all…
⬛ The Turret Sign
A canopy-style, wrap-around Nova Flex lightbox spanning three sides of the building’s highest point.
Front: 1790 × 1400mm
Sides: 1590 × 1400mm (x2)
It looks like it’s fixed to three walls — but only two actually exist.
So we designed custom telescopic steel brackets, anchored to the rear wall and extended to support the “floating” side.
Simple. Clean. Rock solid. Problem solved.
📢 Also supplied & installed:
• 3m x 1.5m interchangeable billboard, mounted on 6m powder-coated aluminium posts
• Laser-cut 10mm clear acrylic lettering, laminated in Alsford Red, 1.3m tall, spanning 4 metres, installed 10 metres above ground
• 1m x 1m x 60mm solid aluminium tray sign for HSS Hire, powder-coated RAL 5012, colour-matched perfectly to existing branding
This has been our greatest challenge to date, and it went exactly how you want a job like this to go — because of planning, trust, and the right people on site.
Huge thanks to Alsford and their brilliant marketing team for their loyalty, trust, and full on-site backing throughout. Always a pleasure working with a client who genuinely supports ambitious work.
