Wow wow wow ! With last nights event & collecting tins from The Cricketers Arms and The Greenman Wimborne we have smashed it and are at an incredible £6385 for CoppaFeel! !!!! Absolutely blown away by all the donations, prizes and general support we have had. This money will LITERALLY save lives and you are all legends 🩷

Five women from Dorset trekked 100km across the Sahara Desert to raise money for CoppaFeel breast cancer charity.

Whilst it’s amazing the 79% is making me twitchy it needs to be a round number 🤣. We would love to hit the magic £5k before we get on that plane and we are SO close ! We have some exciting plans in the pipeline too in the run up to December (I refuse to mention the C word)

So a month today Megan and I head off to to Sahara to hike what seems to be 110km not 100km across it !! We are beyond excited to be in Bimini Bon Boulash’s team (if you watched Celebrity SAS you’ll know they are absolutely hardcore and if you watched Drag Race you’ll know they are incredibly talented and hilarious !) Absolutely the team captain we were hoping for and we are so excited !!! We are also hiking with Candace Brown, Millie Mackintosh, Carrie Hope Fletcher, Giovanna Fletcher, Ashley James, Kelly Crump and more people that I’ve forgotten as I was over excited on the zoom call !! And obviously with an incredible team of breast cancer survivors 🩷 We are already at an incredible 75% of our target now so f you can help push us up we’d be eternally grateful. If it helps picture a middle aged potato with lily-white skin stomping across a desert in 30’ heat trying to do wild wees without it going on my feet. With a drag queen and some fitness influencers. It’s all going to the incredible Coppafeel to save lives !! Link in bio ###

Our training has been TERRIBLE but a little walk this morning was progress right ? And it was quite hot. And I wore my new boots for the first time after the last pair tried to kill me (twice) and I’m happy to report they feel good and I didn’t fall over !!

Well the fundraising is going considerably better than the training 🙄. We are at an amazing 75%, but if the idea of Megan and I attempting to cross 100km of the Sahara without breaking anything (me more than her to be honest) with terrible fitness levels is likely to entertain you please feel free to b**g us a few quid. Today Megan and I met the second of the three local women we are trekking with this year. All three of them have had breast cancer and I’m still in awe of them doing this challenge after what they’ve been though physically and mentally. Coppafeel is an awareness focused breast cancer charity - early detection absolutely saves lives ! So check your b***s REGULARLY, encourage your friends to check theirs, teach your children. Breast cancer isn’t gender specific and it’s certainly not bothered how old you are !! B***s, moobs, big and little, check them !!
Whilst we are fortunate enough not to have had breast cancer, the money we are raising is for EVERYONE. Help us save lives 🩷 link on the top of our page ###

£1685 off of our total target !!! Bloody amazing people that you are we are at 71 % so thank you !!
We’ve actually done no training and we go in less than 5 months but we are staying positive 😬😬. I’m sure 100km in the desert, camping, will be absolutely lovely. At least we will have good stories to tell (and here’s hoping to no more injuries as I’m only just out of my wrist splint and the mean Dr has told me no paddleboarding for a month which I feel was rude 🤣)
On a related topic I’ve swapped the boots that tried to kill me on a cliff in Lulworth and will be duct taping the lace locks to be sure. Anyway, thanks again (and the link is pinned at the top 😉)
