Enjoy a meditative hatha yoga flow that will provide a sound foundation for yoga practice.
Hatha yoga not only strengthens the body and improves health, it awakens a deeper, intuitive awareness that cultivates relaxation and concentration.
I will be running this practice for anyone who is wishing to experience and learn more about the ancient yogic science that enables the release of tension through physical movement to enhance balance and a sense of wellbeing.
The aim to develop an understanding of a fluid, flowing practice that intuitively meets the needs of the body through mandalas (groups of postures). Mandalas that will internally massage and nourish the body as it releases tension on a physical, energetic and emotional level.
The practice will include pranayama (breathing), mandalas and meditation to relax into the bigger energy of life and to broaden an understanding of calming the mind so that you may encounter life with greater clarity and compassion. To encourage and maintain equilibrium and equanimity.
No previous experience of yoga necessary, simply an open mind and willingness to explore your yogic potential.
