Happy National Volunteers' Week!

Volunteering as: Mentor

Helping: new businesses, through Digital Boost

Cause supported: economic empowerment

For how long?: 1 year

I decided to begin volunteering because...: I wanted to share my marketing expertise with fellow small businesses.

What was my impact? I enjoyed seeing that I supported 78 founders with marketing strategy, online visibility, confidence and organic growth in a year.

What did I appreciate during this process?: Meeting some lovely people, gaining valuable contacts and learning about other industries.

I would definitely recommend volunteering because...: you will feel good by doing good, making a positive impact in the world or your local community.

I delivered a seminar on "social selling with LinkedIn" on Wednesday to a full room at the Basingstoke Business Expo.
