There are only a few things that can make me smile like this...

Majestic waterfalls in the Highlands and marvelous testimonials from fantastic customers like Essential Cuisine

Their feedback made me so happy because it recognises the high standard of our printing service, but also celebrates the social impact we make.

This marriage of professionalism, quality and purpose perfectly encapsulates exactly what we're all about.

Thank you to the team at Essential for making my week and for their ongoing support of NMC Design+Print and Neuromuscular Centre!

We love working with you 💙

A logo is just the beginning.

Your visual identity is built through every interaction people have with your organisation — from signage and leaflets to social media graphics and name badges.

For Chester Driveability, we developed a logo and brand guidelines, then applied them consistently across signage, clothing, stationery and marketing materials.

When every visual element works together, it helps build recognition, trust and a stronger connection with your audience.

What do you think makes a brand instantly recognisable? 👇

We're not just designers!

Today, our senior designer Jake met with a group of young people with DMD to talk about working with a neuromuscular condition.

Everything he shared was based on lived experience, giving authentic, nuanced and person centered information that you can't find anywhere else!

He talked about:

● The benefits of employment
● Care packages and how PAs can help you at work
● How volunteering helped him get paid employment in the creative industry

We hope sessions like this one will help to encourage and motivate young people who are getting ready to enter further education or the workforce.

And collaborate with organisations that actively strive to put something positive out into the world?

If you think vision, values and social impact are just as important as good service and high quality products - you might be just our type!

NMC Design+Print is a graphic design company with a difference.

We offer branding, print design, motion graphics and professional printing for people who want thoughtful, strategic visuals and a team that genuinely cares about bringing their vision to life.

What makes us different is any profits made go straight back into supporting NeuroMuscular Centre, while also creating opportunities for creative people with disabilities.

We care about people first, collaboration and meaningful impact — and so do our customers.

We recently worked with up and coming graphic design students from Priestley College to give them experience of working on a real, live design brief 👇🏻

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BBinKaxrY/

Huge congratulations to our talented Graphic Design student, Eleni, who recently took part in an exciting live design project set by NMC Design + Print — a charity dedicated to supporting people affected by neuromuscular conditions.

This project gave Eleni and her fellow students a fantastic opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge in a real-world setting. From developing initial ideas through to professionally presenting their concepts to representatives from the organisation, the experience was both rewarding and inspiring.

It was a brilliant day all round, showcasing not only creativity but also confidence and professionalism. Opportunities like this are invaluable in helping our students build a deeper understanding of the industry and prepare for future careers in the world of Graphic Design.

We’re incredibly proud of everything Eleni and our students achieved — well done! 👏

Say hello to Amy 👋🏻

🖥️ She's usually hiding behind an Apple Mac, crafting designs for all kinds of different leaflets for NeuroMuscular Centre

Working closely with both Head of Engagement and NMC’s physio team, she helps to bring important information to life!

Whether it's upcoming community events, or fact sheets and handouts for the physio team - Amy’s design skills help NMC share important information with our community.

She really understands how much this support can help people with neuromuscular conditions because she's also a regular in the NMC physio department and accessible gym.

She says, because of NMC, “I’m a lot less physically fatigued. I don’t feel as shaky or unsteady and, touch wood, I’m having fewer falls”.

🏋🏻‍♂️ Amy even reluctantly admits that exercising really does make her feel better! 🤣

See if you can spot any of Amy's work next time you're at the Centre.

We were excited to spot our friend Cath from Pathfinders Neuromuscular Alliance on the BBC last week!

Like our Senior Designer, Jake, she's passionate about powerchair football and that really comes across in this short video:

Well done Cath!

Powerchair football is one of the fastest growing disability sports.

There's been drama in the office today

And, instead of playing my usual role of diplomat, I've been fanning the flames.

🔥🔥🔥

Because…

It's Mark VS Mike

Head to head to see who can raise the most money for NMC in a sponsored sky dive!

🪂🪂🪂

They are both fantastic, brave (and utterly bonkers)... But I am taking sides.

Drum role please 🥁🥁🥁

My donation is going to Mark.
(Because he's our Senior Designer's dad)
And just look at the fear on his face 😱

But...

Mike and Mark both do a lot for the Centre and are a big part of the NMC Community - so they are equally deserving of your support.

Mike is dedicated to NMC Shed Club and is responsible for some of their biggest and most complicated builds AND he's a regular service user so he really understands the difference NeuroMuscular can make. 🛠️

Will you be Team Mark or Team Mike?

Or, be an absolute star and support them both ⭐

I’ll leave the links to their Just Giving pages in the comments and let you decide the winner!

Some jobs feel extra special…

Like the NMC Impact Report.

It captures the voices of people across the NeuroMuscular Centre (NMC), along with financial data, stats and survey results that demonstrate the impact the charity makes throughout the year.

But… clocking in at around 120 pages, it requires a lot of creative thinking, some serious attention to detail and professional design skills.

This year, our Senior Designer, Jake took the lead.

As both an employee of NMC and a physiotherapy patient, Jake understands the difference that the Centre can make first hand - so he was especially driven to produce a truly stand out design.

We think these spreads really deliver impact and convey the NMC’s welcoming and vibrant atmosphere 👇🏻
