Never too old to try your first Butternut Box! He who had always eaten everything he should and so much more he shouldn’t has decided that he had earned to right to vote with his tum! A training walk from brewery and back to brewery with one of the ‘Kindrochit Kings’ as I generously gave of my considerable jungle experience! Lesson learned that confidence in map reading doesn’t always mean you are going the right way! So let’s talk pants..reusable period pants specifically.

Of all the products I have discovered over the past several years, period pants are my absolute favourite! I cannot believe I went through my whole life without the benefit of what is an incredibly simple invention and one that reduces unnecessary plastic waste immeasurably!

They are comfortable, practical and just so much easier ….in every way!

I also happen to have a daughter of a certain age and am therefore very keen to encourage people to start their daughters off in the right way. By the ‘right way’ I mean the ‘right way’ for them - not everybody gets on with every product, but with that in mind I contacted a couple of the best manufacturers and they sent me samples to share with you all. Thank you to and for providing me with some great examples. The options are vast and include swimwear, exercise wear, thongs, shorts, or just sanitary towels, you name it, all made incredibly well that will last for years and years.

So, if you see me at an event or specifically would like to chat through the options and look at some samples, just pop along and ask me for a look at my ‘red bag’! My intention is to build up my collection, and help people make an informed decision. I’ll be glad to show you what I’ve got.

We are absolutely delighted after two long years, to be back at Wisborough Green Primary School's Summer Festival this weekend.

Wisborough Green school and indeed the Summer Festival have been a huge part of mine and my family's life for many years, and it been heart breaking for the children to miss out on this amazing event recently. It also raises a great deal of vital funding for the school.

We know there will be lots of fun, stalls, entertainment and the whole afternoon will kick off with a wonderful procession and Maypole dancing!

We simply can't wait. We'll have all of our usual waste reducing products on offer and will be very ready to chat!
