saw this trend and obviously had to make my own little graphic designer version🤭

coffee? secured ☕️
my tool? my trusty macbook obviously 👀
moodboard? ready to go 🎨
final brand design? and she’s DONEEE 🕺

i refuse to shut up or stop posting the brand and packaging design i did for Stolen Summer🫵 i’m just not ready to accept that summer is OVER… like how is it????😭

Yutori Coffee ☕️ CLIENT WORK

Yutori is a speciality coffee shop inspired by Japanese culture and the idea of creating space for balance, connection and moments of calm ☕️

Yutori is for those who see coffee as more than just a drink but an experience where great flavour and meaningful moments come together🍵

For the brand identity, the goal was to capture Yutori’s minimal and considered approach, while creating a visual world that felt warm and rooted in its Japanese inspiration 🪑

screen vs reality👀

this is my favourite part of packaging design! seeing the flat designs i’ve been staring at in Illustrator come to life as an actual product!🥹

it’s so satisfying seeing the colours, type and layouts all come together outside of the artboard🤭

Skin & Wellness Sphere 🫧 CLIENT WORK

Skin & Wellness Sphere is making skincare and wellness feel a whole lot less overwhelming by creating a trusted space for honest reviews, curated recommendations and practical guidance🧴

For the brand identity, the client wanted something modern and clean but that still felt approachable and trustworthy - moving away from the overly clinical feel you can sometimes see in the skincare space but still feeling credible and considered🤍

The goal was to create a visual identity that made skincare feel simpler and more accessible, while giving S&WS a strong, recognisable presence across its platform✨

i’ve been ghosting you cause i’m working😌

i’ve been LOCKED IN.

between client work, content creation, brand collabs, the occasional passion project and getting out to more creative community events, life has been a littleeee busy lately🫣

not to mention the amount of work currently sitting in my mac that i’m DYING to show you but will have to gatekeep for a little longer🤭

it’s been one of those periods where i’m constantly jumping between projects but i genuinely feel so grateful that this is what i get to call work🥹

so yes, i’ve been a little quiet. but behind the scenes? very much booked, busy and making things happen😌 but found the time to jump on this trend ofc!

ideas to fill your design portfolio 👩‍💻

if you’re a graphic designer trying to build up your portfolio but don’t have loads of client work yet, personal projects are your best friend!! 👀

instead of just making another logo, try giving yourself a full creative brief and designing something that lets you show off different skills💻

here are 4 ideas to get you started:

📚 editorial magazine - experiment with typography, layouts, grids and art direction

🫧 skincare packaging - build out a full brand identity and explore how it works across different products and packaging

🎵 record sleeve - have fun with art direction, typography, imagery and creating a strong visual concept

📢 poster campaign - create a series of marketing posters that work together while still having their own personality

the best portfolios aren’t necessarily the ones that look the prettiest but the the ones that show how you think, experiment and solve a design problem 🙂‍↕️
