Big mixed hedge removed full of ivy and bramble and dead parts restricting view as pulling out of driveway . It was deciduous so didn’t give a full screen to back garden in winter when leaves have fallen . Full removal including roots and waste fence built and front verge turfed . Will be back to plant a laurel hedge along fenceline now the timing is right with damper weather now. A lot safer pulling out now the road is fully visable . Wow what a difference , this area was once a barked area with a membrane sheet beneath customer payed previous landscaper to take bark and sheet up and turf . Turf was failing sheet was still only an inch or two underneath never removed no where near enough of a topsoil bed . We removed sheet and old turf supplied new topsoil and re-turfed . And used everedge as edging to create a flower bed in the corner mulched and added new shady plants as area it covered by tree and knew turf would never be best there. Another happy customer . Patio was getting swamped by this conifer tree alleyway down side of house getting tight to use customer didn’t want to lose it completely as it gives a great screen higher up from neighbours . Think the skirt lift slight reduce on top and shape up was the answer , access and space on patio back 👌🏽
