Thrilled to be back at Mello Events for the 4th year running. Great to have a long term relationship like this. Always fascinating talks about and from investment firms and independent businesses.
Today I'm filming content for their YouTube as well as some investment firms presentations they've booked me independently for to use in their marketing.
Heck of a drive though from Colchester to West London, oof, rain plus meant horrid traffic to get here. Long!!!

Pro tip: If you're speaking at your Networking event, or anywhere for that matter, get it filmed.
You can share your story and knowledge with the 20+ in the group, which is great, but if you film it, clip and put online you're sharing that same message with a substantially wider audience and who knows where that could land for new business opportunities. This is REALLY good to do if you're looking to land more speaking gigs as it demonstrates how you present and your personality etc.

Now, it doesn't have to be a full-on production like I'm doing here today (At Marks Tey, Thursday's fortnightly 8-10 with Essex Networking Skills via Mark Sexton) you could, at least, setup a smartphone on a stand with a wireless mic fed into it.
Leverage your speaking opportunities into content for your social medias.
