Gets Louder

Gets Louder Specialist Music Radio & Press PR and photography based in Oxfordshire.

“We can’t praise Terri and Gets Louder enough; she’s got us some phenomenal radio play and a bunch of reviews we’d never have even considered without her work on plugging and PR. She’s an absolute gem to work with, too, so much so that when we took on new management one of our stipulations was that we’d still continue to work with Terri on the PR side as well. (Cracking photographer, too, if you’re looking for band/live photos!)."

After a too-long hiatus, and ongoing issues with time management that baby steps may help to minimize, RadioMike and his Fevered Brain are making a slow return to the local music that has piled up for quite some time. Things and distractions have overwhelmed us for quite some time, but…

Calling Oxfordshire artists, bands and musicians - this project is for you! We're teaming up with the Museum of Oxford to present a unique live show bringing together the sounds of Oxford itself with the talent of its musicians and artists.

Sounds of the City: live invites Oxford’s musicians to work with a field recording of a sound from the city, and develop a piece of music or a song based on (and containing) that recording, to perform live at the museum at a showcase event on Friday 11 December.

This unique project sees artists being inspired by the soundscapes of our home city to create a set of songs that spring from the very sounds of Oxford itself – and a unique live event celebrating the sounds of Oxford as they’ve never been heard before.

Participating artists will receive £100 each for taking part, will perform their Sounds of the City compositions live at the museum, and the pieces will also be presented on the Cities and Memory sound map and across our podcast.

Apply to take part by 29 August: https://citiesandmemory.com/sounds-city-live-oxford/
