❄️ Winter Watercolour Class

Adult class (suitable for ages 14+ for those young art enthusiasts!)

Thinking of taking up a new hobby this year? This winter workshop is a gentle, welcoming introduction to watercolour. A cosy session designed to help you slow down, learn something new, and enjoy the process.

This class is beginner-friendly. We’ll take everything step by step, at a relaxed pace, with plenty of time to practise, experiment, and build confidence.

In the workshop, you’ll learn how to paint:
☕ Steaming mugs of coffee or cocoa
🧣 Knitted scarves
🦊 Cute woodland animals

In the final hour, it’s your turn to bring everything together. You’ll use the techniques and mini illustrations we’ve practised to design your own cosy winter composition.

Throughout the session, you’ll enjoy hot drinks and sweet treats ☕🍰(because winter demands it!).

✨ A Little New Year Update ✨

As we step into 2026, I wanted to share a small but meaningful update with you.

You might know me as Papers by Mae or The Home Ed Hub, depending on what you’ve worked with me for. Art workshops, wedding invitations, creative projects, or education and tuition for your children.

As my work has grown, those two sides have become more and more intertwined. Offering:

Art workshops for adults
Art classes for children
Tuition in English (Year 1 – Year 9)
Tuition in Maths (Year 1 – Year 11, including Functional Skills)
Education classes across a variety of subjects for Home Education children

To reflect this growth, I’ve started the year with a new umbrella name:

Education & Art Studio.

I want to reassure you that nothing I do is changing. The same sessions, the same values, the same approach. This isn’t a sudden rebrand or a goodbye to the names you know. It’s a slow, gentle transition that brings everything together in one place. One space, one name, that reflects everything I love doing. Blending creativity with education.

Thank you so much for supporting me. Whether you found me through Papers by Mae or The Home Ed Hub. I’m really excited to take you into this next chapter 🌿

Whether you’re celebrating with friends or colleagues, it’s the perfect way to unwind, sip something sparkly, and enjoy a cosy, festive night out.
