Colour session with a difference in the studio this morning.

Step 1, matching paint colours to furnishings in good daylight.
Step 2, pinning these samples around the room that's going to be painted very soon!

To be honest, I find analysing my lovely colour clients so much easier than choosing paint colours! The robust, scientifically proven process I follow guarantees success every time.

Transformation Tuesday.
Love this sweatshirt:perfect colour, beautifully soft 100 % recycled cotton, but not quite right for me. 🤔
Just a tad too casual.
So, a touch of Liberty Print in the form of a Peter Pan collar. ✅️
Adds a subtle pop of colour from the softer colours in my palette.

Glorious day in the sunshine but a definite autumn chill in the evenings now.

Happy new school year to all my teacher friends and pupils going back to school this week. I'm not going to miss that 'return to school' feeling and will be enjoying my well-earned holiday in term time!!

Saturday shopping at its best.
A superior personal shopping experience you just can't match, with the lovely .bysuze.

Having told her I'm coming for a pair of trousers, she had set aside the exact ones I had in mind. I bought them.

✅️ length
✅️ loved them at first sight

I know they will work with many tops and jackets I already have.

I might have found a blouse too, that will go with these trousers and many others I have. 🤔
Not quite what Suze anticipated, but a great combo I'll share with you soon.

That's the beauty of knowing my colours, style, lifestyle and the gaps I need to fill in my wardrobe for the coming season.
And the joy of going to a stylist who knows her clients so well she can find them incredible items to wear. Not just from this season's collection but years gone by.

So up to the sale rail and bingo. A bargain. My perfect marine navy trousers, perfect style and fit. Will go with my new blouse and many more I already have. ✅️✅️✅️

So, from 3 items purchased I'm going to have many new outfit choices. I can't wait to wear them and share them with you.
