🐷🌾 Just over a week to go until Story Rangers packs up the leaf mats and heads to Himley Under 5s Day!

We're so excited to be joining this fantastic family event and bringing one of our favourite traditional tales to life... The Three Little Pigs! 🐷🐷🐷

Throughout the day, you can join us for FREE Story Rangers taster sessions (storytelling times coming soon!) where we'll huff, puff and tumble into a world of storytelling, imagination and adventure.

Whether you're already part of our Story Rangers community or you've been wondering what all the fuss is about, this is the perfect opportunity to come and experience the magic for yourself. 📚✨

As well as our immersive storytelling sessions, we'll have:

🎭 Story-inspired role play
🐷 Story-themed play stations for little adventurers
🎨 Colouring activities to take home
📚 Opportunities to explore, play and retell the story in your own way

And don't worry if you miss a story session-you can still pop by, say hello and let your little one enjoy some Story Rangers magic.

Books needed (especially children’s books) for Dudley Canal & Caverns Community Bookshelf.

Our community bookshelf is running low on books 📚

It's a staple in the cafe - you can come in, find something you fancy, leave a donation, and take it home. It's become such a nice part of what we do here.

Right now we need good quality books - fiction, non-fiction, whatever you've got. But we're especially low on children's books, so if you've got any gathering dust at home, we'd love to give them a second life. Just bring them to the office next time you're in.

This summer, for the entire six-week holiday period, we’re launching our biggest offer ever!

As many of you know, 2026 marks our 10th Anniversary, and we’ve been celebrating with a different special offer each month throughout the year. We’re now delighted to announce our biggest promotion yet.

Alongside our anniversary celebrations, a new temporary government initiative has been introduced to help families enjoy days out for less. Thanks to this support, we’re able to significantly reduce our admission prices throughout the summer holidays, making a visit to WILD more affordable than ever.

Some of you may have noticed that our summer holiday dates are not yet available to book. This is because we want to ensure that every guest has the opportunity to benefit from these reduced prices, rather than releasing tickets early and having some visitors miss out on the savings.

🎟️ Summer holiday tickets will go on sale on Thursday 26th June, with our new reduced pricing in place.

We can’t wait to welcome you for a summer packed with amazing animal encounters, spectacular bird displays, prehistoric dinosaur adventures, outdoor fun, and unforgettable family memories.
