We turned to Shopify for its robust point-of-sale and stock control features, setting up smart filtering to help customers quickly find exactly what they need. 🔍

Today marks Safer Internet Day, the UK’s biggest celebration of online safety and an initiative aimed at promoting safer, more responsible digital experiences. This year’s theme, “Too good to be true? Protecting yourself and others from scams online”, focuses on helping young people recognise and avoid online scams.

By talking openly about online scams, we can empower young people to think critically and stay safe. 🙌

Jono leads Infotex’s Microsoft development team, focusing on creating systems that improve the user experience for patients accessing healthcare services. With 20+ years of experience developing systems for the NHS, Jono brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to everything he does. 💙

After graduating in Economics from Loughborough University, Jono discovered a love for programming and never looked back. In December 2020, he joined forces with Gareth Barnes and Mark Boreham to establish Infotex.io, becoming an integral part of the Infotex family.

Outside of work, Jono is a big fan of racket sports, especially badminton and tennis. He’s on the tennis court in Colchester every week—rain, shine, or even -1°C weather!

We are delighted to introduce Angie Vale, who recently joined us as a designer.

Before becoming part of our team, Angie ran her own business designing and developing custom WordPress websites for a wide variety of clients. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for blending technical problem-solving with creative design—a perfect fit for Infotex!

A lifelong Suffolk local, Angie grew up in Aldeburgh and stays active with running, cycling, and yacht racing—yes, even in winter! She’s also just started competing in the Royal Harwich Yacht Club Shiver Series.
