On Saturday I held one of my drop-in coffee mornings, and as everyone chatted and laughed, I realised something.

The conversation wasn't really about clothes. In fact, we probably talked more about films!

It was about how lovely it is to spend time with women who genuinely encourage one another.

Several people said how much they enjoy being part of this community, and it reminded me why I started it in the first place.

Yes, I love helping women discover their best colours and personal style, but it's always been about more than that. It's about confidence, friendship and having a place where you can ask, "Does this work?" without feeling judged.

And if you'd like to come along, my next coffee morning is on 10th October; you will be very welcome.

Here's to a community where we don't just refresh our wardrobes; we grow in confidence and have a great time together.

Often, we are emotionally invested in the clothes we have, even when they don't make us feel good. And it's tricky to detach from that emotion and make strategic wardrobe decisions

Luckily, I have no emotional connection to your clothes; I simply see potential or completion. Once the item has served its purpose, we can thank it and move it on
