I’m really excited to officially say that Mindful Equine is now certified through the British Grooms Association 🎉🐴

For me, this was an important step in building Mindful Equine properly and professionally from the very beginning. Anyone can advertise horse care services online, but I wanted clients to know that I take both horse welfare and professionalism seriously.

Being BGA certified means I’m supported by a recognised professional organisation within the equestrian industry, and that I’m committed to maintaining high standards of care, professionalism and safe working practices.

For clients, it means added peace of mind when trusting me with your horses and yard. Alongside experience handling a wide variety of horses over many years, it also means:
• appropriate insurance cover
• professional standards and support
• clear client paperwork and agreements
• a welfare-focused approach to horse care
• ongoing professional development within the industry

Your horses are family, and I know how important it is to feel confident in the person caring for them whilst you’re away or needing support.

Day 1 of the 30th birthday celebrations today (still slightly horrified to be saying I’m in my 30s 😅🥲) with a lovely little family party 🎉

But a definite highlight of my day was being up early to see this gorgeous boy for his first ride at his new yard, and his first time going bitless! He was an absolute superstar and took it all in his stride 💕

We definitely need to sort a browband situation out 🤣 but I’m incredibly proud of my boy.

Whether you’re going away, working long shifts, need an extra pair of hands or simply want peace of mind knowing your horses are cared for properly, I’m here to help 🤍

I’m experienced handling a wide variety of horses and personalities, from sensitive and quirky horses to competition horses and ponies.

Someone who will care for your horses as if they were their own… while also sending you the obligatory “aww look at your horse” updates whilst you’re sipping cocktails on a beach somewhere? 🌴☀️

Hi, I’m Liz, the face behind Mindful Equine.

I’ve been around horses my entire life and working with them professionally since my teens (which is a long time ago now😅). Over the years I’ve handled a huge range of horses, from cheeky little ponies to professional show jumpers, dressage horses, eventers and even stunt horses.

I’m confident in a wide variety of environments and situations, and pride myself on having a calm, grounded and thoughtful approach to horse care and handling. Horse welfare and understanding always come first for me, and I know how important it is to find somebody you genuinely trust with your horses.

Whether you need weekend cover, bank holiday support, yard help or an extra pair of hands, your horses will be cared for, fussed over and treated with kindness every step of the way.
