Wouldn’t it be easier to have access to a drive full of professional grade shots and reels ready to post? That’s where we come in to help. If that sounds like something you need in your life, so you can focus on what’s important in your business, then get in touch.

You might have noticed, Instagram is changing it’s sizing! I’m going to go through everything you need to know so save this for later ‼️

Instagram has been slowly rolling out an update for a few months now that is removing the old square feed, but last week it pushed the update to a larger bulk of users.

So what does that mean for you and your posts?

🤳 It’s time to stop making square content (1:1 ratio) and start making content portrait in a 4:5 ratio.

👀 You’ll now preview posts on peoples grids in a 3:4 ratio instead of square, so it’s important to keep this in mind when you are making covers.

🫠 It’s important to remember though that IG doesn’t actually allow you to post content in a 3:4 ratio, so you will need to use a 4:5 ratio. Look at our safe zone guide on this carousel to see exactly where to place your important content for your grid.

We work with a lot of businesses that function solely online (around 45%) but one of my favourite things is still seeing our work in the flesh. It never gets old especially when it’s implemented so well.

We’ve helped .centre with their branding over the years as they went from a startup online coach to Worcester’s best fitness facility. The brand has honestly been really consistent throughout that period, thanks primarily to Trent’s clear vision.

The point is though, your brand is more than just a logo, it should be recognisable at every touch point, through every iteration and variation and ultimately it’s one of the main things that people will recognise.

For business owners out there, take a look at the .centre page for a lesson on consistency and really making brand guidelines work. I’ll probably do a full case study on it at some point ✌🏻

In the 3 months since launching the new Cob House website, we've seen a consistent growth trend in organic traffic coming directly from search. Keep reading to see how we achieved this growth.

Ultimately traffic is what you have a website for and without it, you essentially have a store on a street with zero footfall. It's actually quite simple, and here is exactly what we did to achieve this ;

1. Build a properly structured website that is easy for search engines to read and understand, following the best practices for on page SEO.
2. Update the website regularly, search engines like a website that they know is looked after and updated often.
3. Keep on top of mini audits each month. Resolve any issues that might exist especially as google make changes to search, keep track of your keywords and what you are ranking well or poorly for and lastly make sure your site is always performance optimised.

You'd be surprised how much success you can see if you just nail the above. If you need help with your website, get in touch today and we can run through a free audit of your current site and give you some pointers that will help boost your search presence.
