Print Finishers needed in Sheffield - Temporary to Permanent Opportunities!

Our client provides cost effect, and high-quality printing services to companies around the UK. As a member of their team, your creativity and passion for bringing quality print to individuals and clients will be key. We are looking for Print Finishers to ensure the safe, smooth and efficient running of the Finishing Machines.

Typical responsibilities may include:

Understanding every job and following lists to ensure all work is completed.
Finishing every job within allocated time scales to a high quality.
Ensuring quality file copies separated and labelled on every job
Boxing and labeling every job and preparing it for dispatch.
Implementing maintenance tasks to plan.
Being responsible for general cleanliness of the finishing department as a part of the daily routine.
Working with the Finishing Supervisor to ensure work is completed as required
Requirements:

Smartphone for accessing the Indeed Flex App
Attending online Zoom Interview
Compliance with all Health and Safety policies
comply with the Company’s Information Security Management System at all times
Salary: £12.10 per hour
*including Holiday Pay

Bayliss is a family run B1 Litho and Digital Commercial Printer established in 1953 based in modern facilities in Worksop. The company is now set for the next phase of growth on the back of excellent customer service to its local and global client base.

We are now looking to strengthen our production team to enable the growth that is already coming in.

The role demands the ability to work as a team or alone to a time sensitive strict production schedule, motivation and organisation is essential.

We require an experienced lithographic printer who is used to taking complete responsibility for all projects within their shift. The successful person will be expected to work across a flexible shift pattern that includes nights and weekends. There will also be opportunities for overtime and we do expect that the team share this evenly between themselves.

Key tasks would include setting up and running Heidelberg Cylinder and Platen, Polar Guillotine and Horizon / MBO folders

Working on a rotating days/afters shift patternwithin a close knit, multi skilled team with plenty of overtime available if desired.

At Bayliss we are committed to a very high standard of work so quality control is of utmost importance.

Experience on running Heidelberg Cylinder and Platen is essential. Experience running Polar Guillotine and Horizon / MBO folders is ideal but excellent training will be provided.

Job Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire

Required experience: Worked within a print finishing department: 3 years

Starting Salary: £21,000.00 /year with structured progression + Overtime taking the salary to £25,000/year
