Goddard.Graphics I produce 'mixed media' digital prints - a combination of drawing, painting and image manipulation, available as both large format and greetings cards.

All of my drawings tend to have a graphic feel to them. I specialise in scenes of Sussex and Normandy.

Old photos can hold some of our most precious memories, but over time they can become damaged or fade away. Long lost relatives, friends from school and photographs of memorable vacations decades ago constitute memories that are way too precious to be allowed to wither away.

I restore photographs that are heavily damaged, very old, or extremely delicate – whether they have been ripped, creased by accident, stained, damaged by water or sunlight or simply faded and deteriorated with age.

I also digitally improve the photo’s overall quality, add colour to a treasured black and white images, and enhance the details to give a dynamic new life to your cherished memories, transforming them to look like they were photographed today!

They make great Christmas Presents! Contact Pete at

Jess and her two other team mates Charlotte and Taylor have now been rowing the Pacific from Monterey in California to Kaua’i (Hawaii) a journey of 2,800 miles for a little over 10 days.

Last week saw very tough conditions with winds gusting to nearly 30 knots over the weekend but now conditions are easing. They have 1737 miles to go! An average of 106 miles a day. They are each rowing about 16 hours a day – 2 hours on, 1 hour off. And at night they are rowing all 3 together for 3 hours and then getting about 4 hours rest (just under that by the time they get to the cabin)

Still keeping a strong second place on the leaderboard, they are currently 1st in Trio’s , 2nd in all boats and 2nd in female class. This despite some brutal days which resulted in several knockdowns (this is where the waves move the boat to a 90 degree angle towards the water surface) and capsizes.

Fortunately conditions are being described as getting better, also meaning that the team have time to deal with the sores, cuts, and bruises from the incidents mentioned above. The team is in good spirits and have already started talking about food in Kaua’i, not to mention their interest in a dog sanctuary on the island where you can take dogs for a walk!

Worthing beach – probably my favourite place in the world! The amazing thing about it, is that it changes every day. No two days are alike! I know, I walk past it every day!

Here is my latest illustration of the section just immediately south of where we live. Using around seven or eight reference photos, I drew this on an ipad using an Apple pencil and Procreate software. Lighting, reflections and water movement later added in photoshop.

This detailed illustration of Worthing Pavilion is a companion to the one I drew of the end of the Worthing pier, with the tide rising.

I use an Apple iPad Pro, and Apple digital pen and Procreate software.

With my illustrations, I enjoy creating scenes that in practice, are difficult or dangerous to get to. Yes, it might be possible to view the Pavilion from this point, but you would get very wet!

This is a series of images I have done of Worthing Pier – I think I have drawn it in all types of weather and conditions now! Time to find another subject!

You can see the other illustrations here – all of which are available as prints or greetings cards:

I really enjoy producing drawings that show scenes that would either be difficult or dangerous to get to. I like to image what it would be like I could actually be there in person.

I first did this with my illustration of Beach Head, which you can see here.

This illustration is one of four that I have produced of Worthing Pier. The other three views of the pier are at night, sunrise and during a storm. They can be found here:

It is exactly a year ago since Jess and her three team mates on ‘In Deep Ship’ successfully completed the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. A row of 3,000 miles from the Canary Islands to Antigua, in a record time of 42 days. Two hours rowing and two hours rest for six weeks!

The first few weeks were very calm, with hardly any wind, which made rowing difficult although the nights were moonlit and the marine life stunning. The last couple of weeks, particularly the weekend of the 8th / 9th January was a different matter, with storms and huge waves which battered the boat and made capsizing a real danger. The storms also badly damaged their steering mechanism and other equipment.

These are two drawings that I produced last year as I tried to picture their crossing and understand what they must have experienced during those long nights. Congratulations team ‘In Deep Ship’ - Joe, Lauren, Jess and Jess, it was fantastic to welcome you safely back in Antigua.

The firework display at the end of Worthing Pier is always an unmissable event every year. Thanks Worthing Lions! Looking forward to this years show! I am never going to be able to capture the spectacle, but i enjoyed doing this illustration and then animating it. This is an illustration I produced last year, the view of Worthing Lido, from Worthing pier, best enjoyed early in the morning when there aren’t many people around!

I felt it was worth posting it again, as Worthing Council are currently inviting local residents to participate in a discussion on the future of the Lido.I have particularly enjoyed drawing this scene and paying a lot of attention to the detail.

Prints, in a variety of sizes, are available on my website in two formats, a ‘detailed view’ and the ‘full view’ from the pier.

Greetings cards and other scenes of Worthing are also available. I hope you like it!
