The House Name Plate company was established in 1986 with the idea of creating beautifully handcrafted house signs and numbers. Over the last 25 years and beyond we have drawn on the expertise of our dedicated craftsmen and women to extend our range of House Signs; incorporating many new materials such as brass, aluminium, slate, granite and ceramic. We cut, engrave, paint and polish almost all of our signs and numbers by hand in our workshop in North Wales.

Our Story

The House Nameplate company is the UK market leader in personalised house signs, letterboxes, house digits and pet memorials. We have been hand crafting bespoke and innovative products in our workshops for the last 32 years and work with smooth and rustic slate, aluminium, brass, acrylic, Portland stone and eco friendly recycled stone amongst other materials. We can add photographs, motifs, numbers and words to your chosen products in a variety of colours and motifs as well as making unique and bespoke sizes and shapes for you. All of our products are UK manufactured, and we offer a no quibble guarantee with a turnaround of 5-7 working days. We currently send our products world-wide. Our pet memorials are a loving reminder of a loved one lost, but not forgotten.
